NON-FORMAL EDUCATION PROGRAMME

In collaboration with Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, (Department of Elementary Education) from 1988 to 2001, Samajik Seva Sadan has successfully run 210 Non-Formal Education Centres involving 53,750 Boys & Girls within the age group of 6 to 14 years from the marginalized community in the entire Sadar Block of Dhenkanal District in Odisha. This in fact prevented thousands of children becoming child labourers.
