From the very beginning Samajik Seva Sadan was conscious of Degrading Environment. Two options to tackle this problem, in the first place SSS propagated plantation in various levels such as fruit tree plantations in the backyard of individual families and fruit tree plantation in common lands, timber and fodder plants in dry land of individual families, reviving of degraded forest land by common effort of the villagers and now even takes up plantation for the corporate houses. The other option was to propagate bio-farming which was promoted extensively in our 48 target villages.

Ayurvedic and Naturopathy Propagation

This is again in line with our thinking and priority to make our target population in good health. Traditional Herbal Medicines preparation was taught to the health workers and TBAs who in turn motivated our target population to prepare Herbal Medicines which are very low cost at the same time very effective without any side effect. One of our General Body member has qualified himself as Naturopathy Doctor who teaches, train and make people practice now-a-days Naturopathy has become very popular.
